Zevrad was arrogant and unnecessarily cruel toward others who dared stand against him. He had seen and done many things, in secret, that would be considered immoral; aiding in genocide, participating in mass destruction, and providing intel for both the demon hunters and the demons.
It was demonstrated at the Broken Isles how Zevrad appeared quite cunning as he formulated an intricate plan to destroy demonic portals and resources before they could flank the demon hunters while deceiving both his enemies and allies. The plan succeeded as his goal was to increase the death toll on both sides.
His demeanor is naturally calm and observant, showcasing his ruthlessness as he has stated that victory, by any means, is preferable to him than losing. He was stubborn and would do things that others were afraid of doing. If something pushed him in one direction, he would face it head-on. He also possessed a dry, sardonic wit and sense of humor and had no problem speaking his mind to other people. He is widely feared amongst his foes and allies that, through his actions and secretive nature, some would indicate that Zevrad is sociopathic by nature.
Later, however, Zevrad demonstrated his capacity for remorse and empathy on several occasions. For instance, he regretted his actions of self-gain but not the acts enforced in service of others. His guilt and shame of past deeds make him very secretive and private as he does not enjoy speaking about his past and prefers to keep it shrouded in mystery. This behavior makes him rebellious towards authority, as shown by secretly disobeying an order of an officer of Dor'Serrar. By salvaging the remains of an artifact weapon for him to utilize for his interests.
Despite his considerably dim outlook on reality, one of the few races on the planet that Zevrad holds in high regard is the Gnomes. A species that he physically and mentally understands as they remind himself of his demonic past. Showing perseverance in ingenuity to fight the odds against them. This sudden development began when he became closer to others he would call companions.
Zevrad's behaviors point him out to be a fearsome hunter and bloodthirsty individual, but there are hints of his Elven past written on his face. Showing expressions of his smile and joy when alone or surrounded by the people close to him. Of how endearing and protective he could be as he showed concern for their well-being. These moments, unfortunately, are brief as they are rare in his path of suffering and sorrow.

Zevrad embodies the concept of a primordial serpent transformed into a dragon as many cultures can use these two creatures interchangeably when it comes to their symbolic functions. A serpent in some cultures represents the concept of rebirth, transformation, immortality, and healing through the traits of shedding their skin transforming themselves into legendary creatures known as dragons. Note that these creatures are viewed as Death and Destruction in Western cultures that must be slain but the East reveres them with Good Fortune.
The serpent was chosen for in Egyptian Mythology, the serpent was a god of Chaos and was the natural opponent of the Light. This concept was later transformed from Egyptian Mythology to the folklore in Slavic culture or Chinese Mythology of a creature transforming into a dragon through perseverance and determination. By fusing the lowly Gan'arg and Night Elf transformed them into one of the deadliest demon hunters as it unlocked Mal'akor's potential as a subspecies of the Mo'arg Race. Powerful and intelligent demons who are said to be the most diverse race in the entire Burning Legion.
To compliment this inspiration came the idea of how The Orphic Egg represents the cosmos in its most abstract conception. Here are some of the interpretations of the symbol:
A Symbol of Creation – The Orphic Egg was the beginning of the universe in terms of Cosmogony, as if it were a kind of Big Bang Theory. It was the source the deity of procreation and life known as Phanes in Greek mythology and Orphic tradition. He is also called Protogonos, which translates to “first-born.”
The Union of Opposites – The Orphic Egg is described as having both male and female elements which made the god who emerged from it, Phanes, characterized as both male and female. Giving them the ability to give birth to the gods and create order in the universe.
A Representation of Orphic Mysteries – The Orphic Egg is based on an ancient Greek religion associated with literature known as Orphism and according to An Analysis of Ancient Mythology, the Orphic Egg represents the “the soul of the philosopher; the serpent, the Mysteries.”
